46 Fire Blower designed by Sir Charles 5th Bart

Fire Blower probably designed by Sir Charles 5th Bart

The above mechanical instrument, built in typical Victorian engineering style, is probably a fire blower to encourage a fire to light.

Sir Charles the 5th Baronet was a prolific inventor and a great engineer.

This somewhat overengineered device seems to no easier to work that a traditional bellows.
