Last pupils in the Balloch school were back row left William Ross and Ian Ross from Ballochduie with teacher Mrs Fraser in the middle and front row left Anna then Elspeth Webster, my two sisters from the lodge and Margaret Innes from Auchernach. The school was closed in 1948. Mrs Fraser stayed in the Backies.
