I am grateful to Brian Davidson for the copy of the pictures of Belnacraig painted by his mothers cousin, possibly in the 1950's

The Pictures above show.

1. Painting of Belnacraig looking south down the hill to to Ben Newe. Compare this with the photo underneath;
2. Photo of same scene in approx. 2006 and see how the trees have grown
3. Painting of Belnacraig looking north up the hill to the Craigton shop and above with the hall on the left.
4. Photo of same scene in 2019

It is amazing how little has changed.
