Murdoch Henderson has kindly sent in these photos of Cairnpadring Cottage, Corgarff, the home of Janet Ritchie nee Henderson. Jane was married in 1886 when the Hendersons moved into Cairnpadring Cottage. The gate spelling (Cairnphadrinc) must have been painted by a later owner as it was originally called Cairnpadring.

These pictures from 1970's - 1980's show:

1. 2. Alexander (Sandy) Moir and his wife Freda at the cottage. Sandy was born (mother Ina Henderson, sister of Janet) at Cairnpadring 1912 and lived with Murdoch Henderson’s grandmother until her death in 1925.

3. Picture of the interior fireplace/ oven and exterior were taken in Aug 1982

4. 5. Pictures of the refurbished gravestone at Corgarff. Murdoch Henderson had it restored in 2013 and added Sandy & Freda as it was their wish to have their ashes interred with our grandparents. The gravestone refurbishing was done by Murdoch Henderson and Henry McLaren, "Whiteknows" Craigivar. Henry's wife was Annie (Nan) Stuart-1929-1996. She was also a granddaughter to the Henderson's.
