"This is a photo of my father Sgt Alexander Cameron, on the right, taken at Passingford Bridge near Ongar in 1926 prior to his retirement in 1927 after 25 years in the Essex Police Force

He joined in 1902 after leaving Glenbuchat in Aberdeenshire

On his left is P.C.George Gutteridge who was murdered by Browne and Kennedy at Stapleford Abbotts in 1927 they both paid the ultimate price for their crime"
