74 Glenbuchat Hall Bazaar 1902

The above is a newspaper report in 1902 of a Bazaar held at the Glenbuchat Hall to raise funds to pay off the debit incurred during its building. Note the great and the good who attended. You may wish to magnify the print with the zoom facility on your screen.

You can see details of the Hall Committee Minutes about that time which describe the organisation of the building of the hall.

Click on of Hall Committee for more details of the minutes .

The hall still belongs to the people of the glen but with a small population of fifty it is difficult to keep it going.

This year (2011) again there was held a successful annual fair to raise money for the upkeep of the Hall. If there are any wealthy Glenbuchat descendants out there the hall would welcome any investment!
