In the kitchen of the croft at Drumnagarrow there is a wide arch over the fireplace not unlike a Glenbuchat ingle at Badenyon, except that it is covered with lath and plaster. Does a stone arch lurk underneath?

My recollection (of a long time ago) was an old fashioned range in the fireplace, but I cannot think if there was an arch.
