10 Quarrymens bothy at SunnybraeA feature for many decades has been this corrugated iron bothy beside the Sunnbrae cottages. It was a bothy for the workmen at the small quarry behind the cottages. The stone for the houses in the vicinity was obtaind from this quarry. It was said to have stopped working as the blasting frequently broke the windows of the neighbouring cottages.
The bothy was bady damaged by the snow last winter and the roof is falling in.
