My great grandparents, Alexander Shand and Ann (maiden name Clark)died at Balnagowan, Glenbuchat in 1940 and 1930 respectively. Can anyone name the people in this photo and I suspect it may be some of my ancestors.

I am sorry I am unable to help with who is in the photo however my great great grandparents are Alexander Shand and Ann Clark so I would be equally interested to learn more about this picture.

The gentleman 3rd from left bears a huge resemblance to Sandy, Frank, Jimmy and Ian Shand but all were born after 2010 (also Tommy who died in ww2). I think these brothers must have been related to the gentleman in photo.
