An epic poem written in 1665 at the time of Cromwell. the poem runs to some 80 pages. It outlines a social and political journey down the don from Strathdon to Aberdeen The initial pages outline the upper Don and later go on to descrbe the murder of Muat, See details under the pictures of Glenbuchat Castle.
