Tom Sandison of Netherton
1968

I well remember this cosy scene, the dogs and the "aeroplane"clock. 1968 was the year Tom and I visited Geordie Oswald at Ben Alder. Netherton was a welcoming place full of activity and for me fun and pleasure although of course Tom and Nan had to work very hard. Times and especially agriculture have moved on but when I passed Netherton on 17 October 2025 it was sad to see.
