Further u in the middle of the picture is Blackhillock Farm

Note the Scots use of Easter and Wester.
Easter and Wester, are used in distinguishing hamlets or farms of the same name, as Easter Essenside, Wester Middle, Wester-kirk. They indicate whether the property lies to the east or west of a property or landmark of the same name.
